Clinical Trial for patients with itchy skin due to kidney disease.

Potential eligible trial participants must meet six requirements to be able to participate.

To participate you must:

18 Years

Be 18 years of age or older.

Kidney Disease

Have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Dialysis

Are either receiving hemodialysis or not receiving any dialysis

Moderate Itch

Have at least moderate itch (in your own opinion)

Study visits

Are willing and able to attend up to 7 trial visits at the trial centre and 3 telephone visits over a period of up to 18 weeks.

Diary

Are willing and able to complete a diary on a daily basis

Information on this study

The clinical trial investigates the effect and the safety of a medicinal cream with an active substance compared to a cream without an active substance over a period of 18 weeks.

All trial-related visits, medical care and the trial medication, are free of charge during your trial participation. Travel costs to and from the trial site for trial visits will be reimbursed.

3. Are you currently having dialysis?

4. Do you suffer from moderate to severe itch (in your opinion)?

5. How do you rate your worst itch on a scale from 0 to 10 within the last 24 hours (0=no itch; 10= worst imaginable itch)?

6. Are you willing and able to attend 7 on-site visits in a clinic/practice and 3 phone calls over a period of maximum 18 weeks?

7. Are you willing and able to complete a short diary on a daily basis?
